A multifaceted designer creating compelling retail, brand and digital experiences. Leila's background is in Interaction Design and Visual Merchandising with the focus on technology within sustainable design, employing design research methods and rapid prototyping techniques in my work.
As part of her course at CIID, Leila was challenged to use technology to solve a real-world problem and instantly saw a way to help women through the intensely stressful journey that is motherhood. She therefore began researching the current support channels available to pregnant women and mothers, and found a real need for a digital service that could offer support around the clock. However she understood that the support offered needed to be from real people - other mothers who had already experienced the things this new wave of mothers was now going through.
And so pillar was born!
